Enchanted…by Mágica Mistura

“I can seem utopian with my fantasy stories, fairies, gnomes and enchanted beings. But let those who, in their own way, never dreamed of a better world cast the first stone. This is my way…”

Wind blow…by Mágica Mistura

“From the eternal waves of the deep lagoon, the cunning wind blows incessantly. Always friend, he doesn’t fail and he doesn’t delay…in the middle of the afternoon he arrives quickly. It seems that you know, my hidden desire, and in the turns it takes, it snuggles in my chest, next to the beats of my heart. If I love this wind, only I know how much, because if I’m far from it, nostalgia launches its painful darts against my feelings… the impression I have is that the world has stopped, nothing has moved since it, from I left. But that’s enough, calm or swarthy, raising sand and leaves, as the wind usually does…”

Patience and Faith…by Mágica Mistura

“Every challenge is an opportunity for growth. It is also true that when we are in the eye of the hurricane, nobody cares about catchphrases about this or that problem. We want a solution, and fast. Situations that have formed over a long time, we want to miraculously overcome them immediately. That’s where patience and faith come in. Patience with us and a lot of faith in ourselves. Let’s go ahead, we realize, we’ve already shown that we’re capable many, many times. We are bearers of all the Light and Wisdom we need, just look for it and find it within You.”

In the Forest…by Mágica Mistura

In the forest is where everything happens

The rain falls…

the water evaporates

the armadillo makes a hole

The snake coils

the cups meet

In a sensual interweaving

The greens merge

Giving rise to a thousand tones

As at the beginning of the ages

At the bottom of the woods

The raccoon hides

the frog croaks

The spider makes the web

For the unwary to grasp

there in the forest

Where does the waterfall run…

Mother Iara sings verses

To the Moon, the Sun, the Earth

Curupira protects the forest

The animals, the plants, the water

Deep in the forest

Pure and beautiful nature

untouched, survive

I hope we stop staining

The living room of the monkey, the jaguar

From the anteater, from the agouti

From the jararaca, from the otter…

So that you don’t complain later

When Mother Earth grieved

Come collect us the bill…

In the forest is where everything happens

The rain falls…

the water evaporates

the armadillo makes a hole
